Privacy Policy
Effective October 27, 2026
The short version: TaskFlick collects nothing. There’s no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. We have no server, so your tasks and worries never reach us.
What stays on your iPhone
- Reading what you type or say. Working out a task’s quadrant and due date runs on your iPhone, using Apple’s on-device model where available and built-in rules otherwise.
- Voice capture. The microphone is on only while the mic button is on. Speech is transcribed on your iPhone, and audio is never stored or sent anywhere.
- Worries. Everything you write in the Worry Rejector is stored only on your iPhone. It doesn’t sync to iCloud, and it’s kept out of widgets, Spotlight, Siri and notification previews. Like the rest of your iPhone’s data, it’s included in your device backup if you back up your iPhone.
- Face ID. If you lock your worries, iOS checks your face or passcode. TaskFlick only learns whether the check passed; it never sees your face data.
What goes through Apple
- iCloud sync. Your tasks sync between your devices through your own private iCloud database. Apple stores that data under your Apple Account, under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We can’t read it.
- Siri and Shortcuts. When you add a task with Siri, Apple handles your request. TaskFlick shares tasks you add with iOS on your iPhone so Siri suggestions learn your phrasing.
- Apple Reminders. If you allow access, TaskFlick reads reminders from the lists you choose and brings them in as tasks. By default it then removes each imported reminder from Reminders, so it isn’t tracked twice; you can keep the originals instead in Settings.
- Notifications. Due-date and “Did it happen?” reminders are scheduled on your iPhone. A worry notification only ever says “A worry is ready to check”.
- Purchases. The trial and the unlock are handled by the App Store. We don’t receive your payment details.
- Crash reports. If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone’s settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. You can turn this off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
Deleting your data
Delete a task or worry in the app to remove it. Deleting TaskFlick removes everything stored on your iPhone. To remove synced tasks from iCloud, go to Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage › TaskFlick.
Children
TaskFlick doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above. If TaskFlick ever starts collecting data, we’ll say so here before the update that does it ships.
